That’s completely normal. I don’t expect children to sit still, smile on command or behave perfectly for the camera. We work with their energy rather than against it, with plenty of room to move, play, cuddle and take a break when needed. Some of the best photographs happen when things don’t go exactly to plan.

Lifestyle Standard and Extended Family sessions can be planned around a location that suits your family and the kind of photographs you want to create. I'll travel within 40km of my location in the Swan Valley. Lifestyle Mini sessions are held at Brigadoon. I’ll help you choose the right location and timing before the session.

You don’t need matching outfits. But i would advise against wearing anything with large logos. I’ll guide you towards colours, textures and clothing that work naturally together and photograph beautifully without looking overly coordinated. The aim is for everyone to still look and feel like themselves. You'll also receive a copy of my style guide via email after booking.

Absolutely. If you’re bringing grandparents or several family groups together, the Extended Family Session is designed for that and accommodates up to 25 family members. We can photograph the whole group as well as smaller family combinations along the way.

I’ll keep an eye on the forecast as your session approaches. If the conditions genuinely aren’t going to work, we’ll make a sensible call and arrange the best alternative rather than forcing a session in weather that won’t look or feel right.

That depends on the collection you choose. Lifestyle Mini includes 15 high-resolution digital images, while Lifestyle Standard and Extended Family include 30. You’ll also have the option to purchase additional photographs or upgrade to the full gallery where available.

Your finished photographs are carefully edited and delivered through a private online gallery where you can view, download and share them. I’d keep the turnaround wording here tied to your actual current delivery timeframe so we don’t promise something different from your booking information.
